Fairfax Recordings is a recording studio located in Los Angeles, California. It was originally built in 1972 by owner/engineer Ed Cherney, and has since been a popular location for recording sessions for a wide variety of artists, ranging from rock to hip-hop. The studio has seen the creation of many hit songs and albums, and is known for its vintage equipment and unique design that allows for both large and intimate recording settings. Cherney passed away in 2019, but the studio continues to operate and welcome artists from around the world.
